Our mission is to enhance the educational environment at William A. Person Elementary School through volunteer and financial resources, to promote communication between the school administration, staff, parents, and students, and to foster pride in Pearson Elementary throughout the community.

Save those Box Tops! Each top help Pearson PTO raise funds to support our school! Each month Box Tops can be sent in for our wonderful CHEERS volunteers to count!

PIONEER FUN RUN
This year, we aim to make our first annual Pioneer Fun Run our BIGGEST fundraiser of the year! Our goal is to raise $20,000 to support students and staff. If we can reach this goal, we will not need to hold as many smaller fundraisers throughout the year!

Over $5000 in books were purchased for teachers to use for Guided Reading instruction this year!
GUIDED READING LIBRARY
Pearson students have voted to add Motion and Spinning Equipment to the playground from funds raised this year!
PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT
Real, live animals come to the classroom to teach and engage all students in a truly hands-on experience!
SCIENCE ALIVE
Students have access to online independent reading materials through Pearson's subscription to RAZ Kids!
RAZ KIDS
Students are able to read current events and nonfiction text through Pearson's subscription to this wonderful educational publication!
TIME FOR KIDS
We give back to staff and thank them for all of their time and dedication to our students with gifts for their classroom!
